According to Merriam-Webster, crafting means “to make or produce with care, skill, or ingenuity”. Typically, crafting might be associated with knitting, scrapbooking, or beading, as a few examples. Leathercraft is also a form of craft.
While other types of leather might have pre-dated fish leather, the unique natural scale patterns of the fish lend themselves to original designs of a variety of accessory types.
Each of our leather types have distinctive scale patterns. Salmon have the smallest scale patterns, carp have larger scale patterns – with some having a more ruffled appearance, perch scale pockets are a bit larger than salmon, and sea bass have a squarish scale pattern.
